About the Duo

ADHK is about making music, wherever we are and however we can make it happen. Adam Holt and Dan Kueny(ADHK) started writing and recording together in Los Angeles, creating songs with real drums, piano, guitars, vocals, and other live instrumentation. Those original recordings are still part of what you hear on the website.

Today, Adam is in Tucson and Dan is in Hawaii, so we have embraced technology to keep the collaboration going. We write, share ideas, record vocals and keyboards, and build songs remotely, using AI as another tool in the creative and production process.

Three of the songs on the website were developed with AI assistance, while the core songwriting, performances, vocals, keyboards, and musical direction remain ours. The rest come from our original recordings and projects.

The interesting part is that, to us, the technology is not the point, the music is. If you can create something that sounds right, feels right, and connects with people, why limit yourself to the way things have always been done? We are interested in what happens when real musicianship, years of collaboration, and new technology come together. This is where music is going, and we are having a good time being part of it.

Since 2007, we have been collaborating, writing, recording, and making music together. What started as a shared passion for creating music has continued for nearly two decades, evolving alongside our individual lives and experiences.

Today, we live in separate states, but distance hasn’t changed the way we create. We continue to stay connected, sharing ideas, developing songs, and working on new music together from afar.

Our music is built on a friendship and creative partnership that has stood the test of time. Different places, different experiences, but the same love of making music.
